Once you reach the next level, you’ll have to contend with an Elite Shock Trooper, two Helitroopers, and two Sentry Guns. Divide and conquer, hitting them with Fire attacks from behind to make quick work of them, then head to the walkway to the left to find an Elite Grenadier and Helitrooper.ĭodge when you see the lights of the helicopter to avoid taking additional damage during the fight, then climb the staircase and duck under the debris to reach the next level. Head left at the top of the ladder and follow the path to find two more Elite Riot Troopers at the center of the room. Keep running ahead and climb the ladder on the left and a cutscene will trigger revealing Jessie, doing her part to break the Shinra lines. Loop around to the right, destroy the Shinra boxes, then continue to follow the path to the right and an explosion will rock the tower. After they’re dead, circle around to the right to find more Shinra boxes, then take the ladder up to the next level.ĭestroy the scattered Shinra boxes, then turn left and hop over the barrier into the next area. Head to the stairs and climb to the next level.ĭestroy the Shinra boxes on the right, then circle around to the left and you’ll be ambushed by two Elite Security Officers and a Helitrooper. Once they’re gone, circle around the left side to find a chest with an Ether inside.
Helitroopers are weak to Fire and Wind, and avoiding their attacks opens them up to Pressured / Staggered status, so use that, spells, and Punisher Mode as they approach to quickly Stagger and dispatch them. At the top of the ladder, turn left to find a Shinra box, then loop around to the right to discover a new enemy the Helitrooper. Take them out quickly with Thunder, then return to the staircase and head up another level to find several Mysterious Spectres and Biggs.Īfter talking to Biggs, circle around to the back part of the platform, then climb the ladder. Take out the Grenadier first, then single target each Riot Trooper with Fire spells to Pressure them and take them out, making the last remaining Riot Trooper and easy target to strafe and take out.Īt this point, you can circle around to the back side of the platform to find a chest with two Orbs of Gravity and two Slug-Rays. Head up the stairs to reach an Elite Grenadier and two Elite Riot Troopers. Take them out, then loop around to the small offshoot area on the right to find some Shinra boxes.
Sidle through the boxes to continue, then head into the open area to find a Sentry Gun and three Elite Security Officers.
